Rough times

Salinas CA

For those of you who don't see this on Facebook...
my Mom went to see Jesus and Dad on May 5th, 2020.

She apparently had a heart attack while enjoying
a short walk with Cooper.
We were grocery shopping and were alerted
by a neighbor ringing our doorbell
which we get on our phones.
They called 911 and wonderful neighbors started CPR
as we rushed home.
Unfortunately neither the neighbor or EMTs
could revive her.

A memorial service will be later this summer.

You can access her obituary here..

We miss her.

  1. Our Deepest Condolences. Will this change your Travel Plan?

  2. Again, I say such a pretty lady. And thankful for all the time you got to spend together over the last several months. That was a God thing.... taking you back to California. Blessings and condolences.

  3. We are so sorry. Just glad you spent quality time with her over the last couple years. Cherish the memories you were able to make during that time!!

  4. Sorry to hear this news. You were such a blessing to your Mom, you took great care of her with the new house. Those last few days were special that you got to spend them with her. I know exactly what you're feeling right now as I lost my Dad this last December after him living with us for the last two years. No regrets as I cherish that time with him.

  5. I'm so sorry for your Laurie to have lost your mother. It was wonderful of you and George to move out to California to be with her and I know that you are really cherishing the years that you were able to spend together. You made the last years of her life so very happy I know. take comfort in how happy she was to be with you and how loved she felt by you.
