Greenfield, CA
God does answer prayers!
As we decided to stay in California a bit longer,
we've been here at Yanks off and on since September.
We've always told them in the office that
we are workampers, and could always use a job.
Lucky for us, they've decided to hire us on!
We only have to work 20 hours each for our site,
and in addition to that,
get paid for all hours worked!
They asked George if he would work 4 days a week,
which he was happy to do.
His job is escorting, filling propane,
and keeping the grounds looking nice.
They had us move to a new site,
and what a nice site it is!
We have a view of the mountain,
brown though it is..
There's green space next to us too.
Right now I'm working in the office 2 days a week,
checking in guests and making reservations.
Such a lovely park, and wonderful people to work for!
We're still spending time with Mom on days we're off.
My son Adam and fiance Jennifer came down for dinner,
and to see the RV.
I forgot all about taking pictures!
George and I found a great little lunch spot in King City
called Cork & Plough.
We are still really loving the weather here,
perfect temps, no rain,
and nice vistas.
Congratulations on your new job!
ReplyDeleteYes God does answer our prayers. Just not always the way we expect Him to. So happy for you. Looks like a beautiful place to live
ReplyDeleteWOW! Things do change. I was thinking you were working in Texas til September and then heading north. Was hoping you had time to stop in Alabama at a site with your name on it. As always, any time.....
ReplyDeleteThat's great news! Congratulations! That will definitely make staying in California work out easier. And you have a gorgeous site also! Even better!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great campground. I am glad it has worked out for you.
ReplyDeleteSo glad this worked out so perfectly. Texas is not a place to be in the summer. I know you love being near your family. The money savings on the site and money coming in are awesome too. Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteGreat news, that campground is lucky to have such wonderful hard workers as you two. :c)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new job! I love the park.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new job! Persistence paid off. More wine tasting to follow, and plenty of family time this summer!
ReplyDeleteGod is good!! Sounds perfect for you guys. And what an awesome site and view!!
