J. Strom Thurmond Lake
The last couple days have been low-key,
just relaxing a bit and enjoying ourselves.
We took more walks around the campground..
and saw the Goodyear blimp go over the lake.
Sorry it's not a close-up..this was from the phone.
George had some company in the campground bathroom..
We had a nice fire in our 'spot'..
and had an interesting bbq of pigs 'n a blanket with baked beans in the can :-)
The male cardinal made an appearance..
But today we celebrated our second anniversary!
We celebrated by going out with our friends to a great place called Tbonz Steakhouse..
The food was great, but the friendship is even better!
Tomorrow we're leaving this great place for a few days,
just down the road to Heritage RV Park in Augusta.
It's only 18 miles away...which should be the shortest distance we've travelled...ever!
Somehow I think it will be a bit of a letdown,
but we're only there until Monday, then it's off to Myrtle Beach for a week!
We had a great time celebrating your anniversary with you! Thanks for including the four of us in your special day. Happy Anniversary!ReplyDelete
Happy Anniversary and best wishes for many, many more!!!ReplyDelete
Happy Anniversary! You have the opposite of PDD going on there.ReplyDelete
Happy anniversary! In the RV world, I have to ask...is it your wedding anniversary or your anniversary of the date you started RVing?ReplyDelete
Our second wedding anniversary! :-)Delete
Happy anniversary. I remember how pretty you looked in your blue dress.ReplyDelete
Sounds like a great anniversary and to be able to celebrate with friends and good food, that's all you need. Like the sounds of your travel day.ReplyDelete
Happy Anniversary. Looks like the honeymoon is still on. What a great group you have to spend it with. Sorry you have to move from such a great place. But if you have to move 18 miles is a nice distance to go!! :-))ReplyDelete
Thanks for letting us spend your special dinner with you. It was a great time. In fact, it was so much fun, it probably was illegal! :cDReplyDelete
