J. Strom Thurmond Lake
Appling, GA
After our nice bike ride on Wednesday,
we sat outside and lit a fire.
Being rather warmish out, we didn't sit there long.
We mostly used the fire to burn some paperwork
that we had gone through earlier.
With all that activity using my back,
I woke up Thursday to a lower back that felt very tight.
I spent most of the day alternating between ice and heat.
Feeling better by late afternoon,
there was a Jello salad to be made!
P,M,T, and M invited us over for a cookout!
We had a great time as usual, laughing and talking,
then later staring at the fire.
Today I rested my back while George went to the post office to pick up our mail.
It is always interesting to see what comes after a month.
Later, we took a ride into Augusta, just to see where the next park is where we are staying.
Tomorrow we plan on going to a Columbus Day festival in Evans, GA..
should be fun!
Judging from your clothing, especially Paul and George, you still have some nice warm weather. Definitely wish I were further south when I hear the local forecast for lows in the mid 30's early next week. YIKES! Hope your back is much better by now.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like all we do is eat. I'm detecting a pattern here... ;c)
