Morgan Hill, CA
Happy St. Patrick's Day
Yesterday we had a nice visit from my Mom & Dad,
and my cousin Kalene..
Kalene lives in Morro Bay, and drove up to stay the weekend
at my parents house. All 3 drove up yesterday, and brought lunch,
from In-and-Out burger :-)
Kalene and I walked laps around the campground,
and caught up with life.
Unfortunately, they had to leave early as my Mom wasn't feeling well :-(
At 4 o'clock, we moseyed over to the clubhouse for another wine tasting..
It is always a fun time!
We got some good news yesterday as well..
We have another workamping gig!
In November, after the Carolina Clan reunion,
we will be heading down to Ocala National Forest.
Our job will be maintenance for the southern part of the park.
George and I will have a FHU site behind the Pittman Visitor Center,
which is directly across from Lake Dorr campground.
We are excited to get to explore Florida next winter,
and see all the places that everyone talks about!
Congrats on the new gig, always nice to explore new places!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on Ocala. I'll have to look into the forest and see where Lake Dorr Campground is. I'm only Familiar with Salt Springs, Juniper Springs and Alexander Springs and one across from the Yearling Trail whose name escapes me for the moment. Maybe they are all in the north end. It's a big place. I know your family will miss you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your next workamping job! That'll be a great place to spend the winter!
ReplyDeleteYay!! Congratulations!! Must feel so great to have that all settled. :) I have enjoyed the couple months that we have spent in Florida. Next winter, we hope to head over to the southwest. Hopefully sometime, our paths will cross!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the workcamping gig. We'll be in Fla same spot next year, that means you won't see the last of us. LOL
ReplyDeletecongrats on the new camping job...we'll also be back down here hope we can't meet up again...
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you'll be heading to that new workamping job. Might as well leave California, with all that wine tasting you've been doing, there won't be any wine left... ;c)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new gig! We'll be in Fl next winter...I'm sure we can hook up!
ReplyDeleteYea! Feels good to know that you have a commitment and where you will be headed, doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the good news. I am also happy to know how to spell moseyed now!
ReplyDeleteYou will love Florida. Lee and I spent about 3 weeks there in February and it was great. We will probably spend the winter after a brief visit home with the children. We don't know about the Carolina Clan Reunion yet because of our summer job.
