Not much going on

Coyote Valley RV Resort
Morgan Hill, CA

My last post on Wednesday was the 3 month recap.
I neglected to tell you our average mpg was around 12.
George is very proud of that number :-)

We've been busy every day with our work schedule.
This cycle we worked half day on Thursday,
then all day Friday, Saturday, and tomorrow (8-5).

We're getting into a rhythm of switching back and forth during the day.
George goes out in the morning and opens up the clubhouse,
does the morning census and garbages,
and fills propane.
He'll come back in 2 hours, and I take over..
picking up garbage/recyclables, checking around the clubhouse
for anything that needs to be done.
When we are home during our off-time,
I get some quiet time :-)
and George works on things outside.

A new workamper couple, Dennis & Sylvia, started yesterday as well.
She's a whiz at scheduling, so the owner is having her do up the new schedules.
I would not want that task..there are 3 couples and one solo workamping.
There really is not enough work (each couple does 28 hours per week total)
to spread between all 4 of us. She's worked it out so that we end up
working shorter days, with 2.5 days off in a row.
We'll see how that goes :-)

It is a gray, gloomy day here today with rain in the forecast.

This little guy was in a motorhome that we filled with propane..

What a cutie!

  5. Sounds like great mileage to me too. Nice to have more people than work. Maybe everyone can have a little more free time.

  6. That is excellent mpg! I'd give my right arm for that kind of mileage...well maybe not but I'd wave my right arm really hard.

We need some propane, can I schedule you to come out and fill our tank? You'd get your monthly hours in really quickly... ;c)
