Traveling to Pensacola, FL

Walkabout Campground
Woodbine, GA

Yesterday we were at Camping World
in Myrtle Beach, SC to get our slides
looked at.

There really was nothing wrong with
them, so they said 'if it isn't broke, don't fix it!'

By 4 pm, we were able to shove off,
and make our way south.
We drove about 2 hours,
and found a WalMart in
Summerville, SC.

We walked across the street
and had dinner at Ruby Tuesdays..
it was pretty good!

Sleeping was a bit restless,
but we got going this morning
and pulled into

We had a simple setup, we didn't unhook,
and it was time for George to get
a haircut :-)

Not too long after,
Elaine & Rich Cochrane
showed up, and parked next to us.
They are on their way south
to Florida as well.

We had a cocktail with them,
then the cold (and yawns!)
chased us inside.

Tomorrow we have a long drive
to Fort Pickens Campground
where we'll stay for a week!

Looking forward to those
nice Florida sands and
beautiful bluegreen water :-)

  11. We went to the Pensacola AF museum twice when we were staying at the Escapees park in AL. Still did not see nearly everything.

So jealous you are in warm weather. Ourselves to blame - Len's kids in the south, mine in the northeast. It's out choice to spend Nov and Dec each year up here.
