This is the life

Huntington Beach State Park
Murrell's Inlet, SC

Today's weather begged
for more walking.
I donned shorts and flip-flops
for the first time in awhile.

George decided to wash the
windows on the outside of Harvey.

Dee strolled by, so I joined her
on a walk to the Nature Center.

I even got to see another alligator..

We walked down the boardwalk,
that sits in the middle of the marsh..

There were several birds
that flew through the marsh..

We came back just in time
for Jim and George to
bring us back some Subway
for lunch..
and I had a work phone call :-)

Since it was getting warmer,
we decided to take the
chairs down to the beach.

We had some company..

It was so nice..
but do you think Dee was
a little cold? :-)

As has been usual,
the day ended with good
friends around the fire..

..and as the night wound down..
some more company came..

Tomorrow, Bill & Nancy
are going to lead us
in an intercoastal waterway tour
on our Sea Eagles.

We can't wait!

  2. Makes me cold just seeing Dee! Some great seafood is to be had at the inlet, Capt. Dave's comes to mind. Also a nice pier at Garden City.

    PS
Judy and I will be Dee and Jim's neighbors Dec/Jan at Adelaide Shores RV Resort Park.

    1. It's COLD! That wind is brutal when you're used to 80-90 degrees and it's down to 50.

  5. I think Dee has spent too much time in Florida! Her blood is getting thin :) There was definitely a stark contrast between your attire and hers. Hope it's warmer today or we could be quite chilly out there in the water :)
