Cut-N-Shoot, TX
We sure hope everyone had a nice
Thanksgiving, whether it was with
extended family, or RV families.
We are lucky enough to be staying
in the Houston area, and within
an hour of George's brother Bill, and sister in law Connie.
Connie's family extended an invitation to us
to join all of them at her sister's house yesterday.
There was so much food!
The women gathered in the kitchen
to get it all ready..
The men were all outside
watching football on the TV that
was hanging on the wall on the patio..
Dessert was good too!
Today George and I barely got out of our jammies :-)
We did take a walk around the campground..
It got pretty filled up, mostly today and
I'm sure through the weekend.
Today was gray and a bit chilly
so no campfire tonight :-)
Let me get this straight - you maybe "barely" got out of your jammies and took a walk around the park? What parts of yourselves were "bared" on that walk.
ReplyDeleteHaha! I think I want the answer to Phyllis' question too :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, we all need days like that. Especially after over-indulging on food the day before :) Glad you had such a good time.
I dunno if I want to see an answer, TMI! ;c)
ReplyDeleteNice that you were able to spend time with family no matter where you are.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a very nice holiday. I definitely need to rest up after mine. Good for you for taking it easy.
ReplyDeleteI hope you saved room for dessert -- they sure look yummy!
ReplyDeleteNice looking campground.
It's always nice to be with family on the holiday. I totally understand needing to rest after that big meal.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you had a nice Thanksgiving. Days that you get stay in your jammies are the best!
