Murrell's Inlet, SC
It has been a terrific 7 days here,
but it's time to move on to
warmer places.
Yesterday was the warmest
it has been since we've been here.
Dee and I decided to finally
take the walk on the marsh.
We walked 2.25 miles, and
it was warm, so we were
ready to relax after that!
After we got back,
I sat in the chair in the sun
for awhile.
Later last night we all
decided to order pizza,
and Bill picked it up.
That was good!
Since we are leaving tomorrow,
today was spent getting ready.
We went into town
and did all our laundry,
I found a place for my pedicure :-)
We also stopped at Walmart
for groceries.
George and I got home,
and spent quite some time
figuring out where to go next.
Looks like we'll leave here
on Wednesday, as
we have an appointment at
Camping World to have
them adjust our slides.
Next stop will be
in Woodbine, GA.
We'll stay there overnight,
then head to
near Pensacola, FL
to spend a week.
We are making our way towards Texas!
Will be anxious to hear your thoughts on Fort Pickens. We absolutely loved it there. If you like to walk on the beach, that place is hard to beat!
ReplyDeleteWe also loved the Fort Pickens Campground. . .and if you are there on a Tuesday (I think) the Blue Angels will do their fly overs on their practice runs. . .just great!

Hope you have a great last day there! It looks like a great place for taking walks and just relaxing - the beach looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteI hope Pensacola is warm enough for you. Cold front moving through Florida today. Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a great week! Looking forward to seeing you again down the road!
ReplyDeleteYour still ahead of us on our route. We will be going to Jekyll Island for the week of Thanksgiving with our daughter and snl. She said it is a great area and so is Cumberland Island.
ReplyDeleteTry to visit the Aviation Museum while in the Pensacola area.
ReplyDeleteSounds like it was a great reunion. Where in TX will you be headed? If you're in the San Marcos area let me know. It would be great to see you again.
ReplyDeleteIf you're around San Antonio past mid-December let us know. We'd love to meet you.
