We are still at Hershey High Meadows Campground
as of today.
Last night it rained, and
I loved the sound of it off the roof.
Our bed is very comfortable!
This morning we took it easy.
I rearranged some of the small
amount of things we brought with
us in the cupboards.
George tackled getting the
surround sound & entertainment
system to work.
I do believe his son Chris
will have to come over and help
when we get back up to Plains ;-)
We took our first showers..
not too bad!
Although the bathroom is small,
it'll be fine.
We also tried out the central vac
system, as there was sawdust in
the floor registers...
It's so exciting to have a new home and get things all tucked away, in about six months you'll change everything around to suit you better once you've found your "groove".
ReplyDeleteWe are on our one year anniversary in our Road Warrior and things are going great! We just had our one year check up at the dealership, just a few cosmetic things and we are on the road again!
I can tell you're just moving in, your counters are almost empty! No matter how we try, the little things start adding up!
Welcome to Our World and have fun!
Nice pictures of a great looking rig. Looks like a regular oven in the kitchen. I think you'll like that. Convection/microwave are OK but they definitely have their draw backs especially in the baking department.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations again!!

I'm looking forward to the day when everything in our life has a place and is IN it's place. I am determined to keep it simple. (Never have before, but I am determined!)
ReplyDeleteA comfortable bed in an rv right from the factory...thatis a first! Glad you're getting settled in. I was pleasantly surprised how well my little Splendide washer/dryer does.
ReplyDeleteYou'll LOVE your fireplace. Just enough heat to take the chill off of cold mornings.
ReplyDeleteNice to see it all coming together so nicely. First night of your new life. :c)
ReplyDeleteBlogger comments have been fighting me the last couple of days...grrr!

Love the pics! It is so much fun getting stuff moved in. :) And you don't have to move it right back out - even better!!
ReplyDeleteThose counter tops sure look familiar! As does the fireplace.
ReplyDeleteI can well remember when we moved in too. For some reason we never have had an issue with clutter. We live very simply.
Wedding day getting real close!!!
Testing to see if I can leave a comment on your blog.

Can't comment through Blogger, though. :c(

Looks like an absolutely beautiful home!
ReplyDeleteOMG! What a beautiful home you have now! Sorry I've missed your blog as of late, I've changed the way I read them and a few slipped under the radar. I've got you on the list again and I'm sending good vibes your way. Hang in there and get over this hurdle, you know good things are coming soon! I'm sad for your loss but so happy for your new home! Cheers! ~M
