Tennessee spring

What a nice day here!

First time I've seen temperatures above 70 degrees since last summer. 

It was in the high 80's today.

We checked out of our hotel, 

and checked out a few places on

the main drag in Sieverville.

The few mile highway through town is

lined with all kinds of touristy places.

Souvenier shops, mini golf, 'wonders of the world' type places. 

We stopped in one of the tacky places..

to buy a tee-shirt and magnet for the refrigerator.

We then moseyed along to the

River Plantation RV park

We are staying in cabin #5,

a cute little 2 bedroom.

It has a kichenette, bathroom, loft with 2 twin beds,

a smaller bedroom with a double bed..

and a small kitchen table and sofa.

We got checked in, and put 

everything away for the week.

Then we took off for Wal-Mart to buy some groceries.

By the time we got back, a lot of the rally attendees

were set up in their rigs, and were out enjoying the nice weather.

We took a walk out & around the RV park...

and met up with some old friends..

George found a Montana he was drawn to :)

After we came back and grilled some hot dogs..

we went over to Howard & Linda's site..

for 'happy hour'.

We met even more 'old friends' from

last year's rally.

I think we're going to make more new ones!
