From reading everyone's blogs,
looks like a great Christmas was had by all..
George & I had a very nice one too!
We got up this morning, made a pot of coffee,
then ate a nice breakfast.
George lit a fire in the fireplace..
and we opened our gifts.
My Mom & Dad sent us some nice things.
George got me some very nice earrings, and
the traditional M&M's :-)
He also loaded me up with gift cards,
and Bath & Body lotions.
We both made a pact to
downsize this year, no sense buying
each other things that we can't use in the RV!!
My son, Austin, bought us
Frommer's 'Exploring America by RV'
What a thoughtful present!
He's listening :-)
I decided to cook a traditional
Christmas dinner for the two of us..
turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, glazed carrots, and rolls.
We're stuffed!!
I see on the weather that we are
under a winter storm watch,
for heavy snow tomorrow into Monday.
Good thing I'm off Monday!!
Oh boy, I can't wait until the day
when we don't have to worry about winter storms!
merry christmas to you and George!!..hope you had a great day!!
ReplyDeleteYes, we're watching the same storm here - so far the forecast is for 10 - 16 inches. But I don't have Monday off. :(
ReplyDeleteI just wrote a post and don't think it went through. If this is a duplicate, just delete me!
ReplyDeleteI just talked to daughter in South Jersey. Storming there. She said might get up to 20 inches. We sure don't miss that. (Well maybe a little)
I have that travel book too. Lots of good road trips. I've reread it even. Many of them I would like to explore some day. ENJOY!
Congratulations on your future wedding!!! Your countdown widgets are great. Did you get them for free or did you have to buy them? I had one for awhile then it got all screwy and wanted to advertise, which I'm against, so I got rid of it. I didn't have anything special to countdown anyway, so it was probably just as well. Good luck in the snow.
