Sure been a busy week!
We're slowly turning Bedrock into Buffalo Ridge.
We all got busy taping up the windows of the office,
so that it could be painted brown.
Thank goodness we didn't have to do the painting!
Bob and Gail are good tapers!
Marlene ordered a new triple door refrigerator
for the store,
and they had one heck of a time getting it in.
It took 6 guys, 4 women,
and a little girl to get it in the door.
They did it!
Today from 5-7 there was a Chamber mixer
in downtown Custer.
There is also a Tesla rally,
and we have the honor of having several
of the cars charging up at the campground.
There will be a shuttle taking them from the park
to their hotels.
There were about 48 Teslas we could see..
I'm not really a car person, but
gotta admire an electric car that costs over $100k.
This year is the 11th annual Buffalo Art Auction as well.
Artists can design their own interpretation of a buffalo
and submit it for the auction.
There were some pretty unique designs!
George wasn't feeling well, we think he overdid
but Bob, Gail, Marlene, and I went to the mixer.
There was pulled pork sandwiches and salads,
wine tasting, and beer...all for free!
It was a lot of fun,
we're looking forward to more things in Custer!
