Plans in Jello

Cedar Creek Hatchery
Hebo, OR

Tomorrow is our last day of work at the hatchery.
We decided to work tomorrow instead of Friday,
so we have a string of days off to end our stint here.
Besides, Friday they're having a cookout for us :-)

George finished up some projects around the grounds here today,
and we took a walk to the top to look at the area one more time..

He also checked the torque and tire pressures in both the truck and Harvey..

Wednesday George is going to wash the RV and truck,
and I'll be cleaning the inside.

We have altered our plans a bit from the detailed post made the other day regarding our future travels.

George and I have decided to travel south to CA to spend some time with my parents,
and then continue with our plans east.
My Mother and Father will need us to be there later on in the year, so we all decided that would be best.
The nice thing about being full-timers is the flexibility and mobility we have to change our plans!

We are looking forward to leaving Oregon on Saturday.
The rains are starting to come and there is a nip in the air, especially at night.
You can tell fall is around the corner!

  1. Envious of that "nip" at night..only in the mid seventies to upper seventies at night here. We won't talk about the daytime highs.. :-) Glad you get to spend some time with your folks now....

  2. Nice that there will be a cookout in your honor after all your hard work. Seems like a wise change in plans. We're hoping for the best for your father.

  3. George is way to motivated - the RV and truck on the same day. Good luck with your new travel plans. Only one more work week for us. WOOOT WOOOT.

  4. Sorry to hear about your father's health challenges. The good part is being able to change your plans to spend time with him. Wish we had made it out to Hebo while you were there. Hopefully our paths will cross at another time. Have a great cookout and safe travels.

  5. Being able to change plans when needed is a great way to keep the stress under control.

  6. We're glad you'll still be able to come out east. We'll have hugs waiting for you.

  7. Glad that you are able to head to CA to spend some time with your parents. Hard to believe that your time in Oregon is over already.

Harry has been doing all the same kinds of maintenance stuff. We were so excited yesterday to get the good numbers from our weighing. I hope your results are good too!!

  8. We needed those wheels on our house this year too. It's so wonderful to have that ability and I know your parents are grateful for it.
